If you look further you will find a constant drumbeat of Marxism and Communism.
Some even went as far to change their names to Lenin and Stalin and money was attempted to be transfered to the USSR. Christianity was totally abandoned and even despised by the time of Jonestown.

There's been a lot of complete nonsense said here, linking Jones to Islamofascism and even 9/11. What Jones practised had nothing to do with Communist socialism - that was just another duck blind used by him to justify one man rule, just as his earlier Christian socialism was. Blaming 9/11 on "Islamofascism" allows people to 'forget' that one of the reasons for the attacks was revenge for countless US atrocities against Muslims. No-one cares about what WE did to provoke it - we are INNOCENT!

@TreblePop Oh, I get it now. Lela apparently was gravely ill and Jones alluded to not "healing" her hence she died and was buried. I suppose she died in California then.

@TreblePop I went to the Altcon site too and under the search I typed in 'Lela Murphy'. There is a summary on Q757 which says she died prior to the community moving to JT. So I'm not sure why the statement was made by someone in JT about her being in a box underground.

ahhh ok. I wasn't sure if that's what you meant or not. I went to the alternative considerations site to check it out. She wasn't listed but I get your point that they don't necessarily know of everyone who might have died before the mass murder.

@TreblePop No, I'm saying that Lela Murphy was very old like close to 90 and she may have passed there. Rev. Jones' mother also died there and they buried her in JT. A handful of elderly ppl died right there in JT of natural causes way before the mass deaths.

Your doing some fine work Plim.
I don't know if your a professional historian but your doing the work of one. These tapes reveal the constant mind control techniques used to make large numbers of people to do the unthinkable. This was the penultimate US disaster before 9/11 and deserves just as much research and investigation.
9/11 was caused by an Islamicfascist ideology and the Peoples Temple was a Marxist ideology, Thanks again for your work.
