Math is Great but You Know What I Hate?

I love math please dont get me wrong,
I need you to understand where Im coming from,
I do take this course all yearlong,
And there is just one chapter I completely bomb.

All my misery and woe come from chapter nine,
People tell me its okay but Im never alright,
I want go to chapter nine and click decline,
But instead when finals come its a huge highlight.

Chapter nine is all about solving out logs,
Graphing, compound interests, and Base-e bullfrog,
I love to ride logs at Raging Waters,
But in math class its like being eaten by bulldogs.

The hardest thing about logarithms is their properties,
Theyre hard to remember and annoying just like fleas,
Memorizing them feels like being stabbed in the kidneys,
I get so stressed that I kick off my flippy floppies.

That means chapter nine stops me from going to the beach,
Instead Im always at home trying my best to reach,
Understanding the difference between exponential and logarithmic,
Thinking about it while you drive will get you a traffic ticket.

The test for chapter nine probably brought my grade down,
My super low score will most likely astound,
I dont know what I will do when finals come around,
Im not even joking if only you could see my frown.

I want to take chapter nine and destroy it in the face,
Put it in a blender and shoot it make sure it never sees grace,
Maybe stab it in the back and push it down a staircase,
I promise chapter nine my mercy it will never embrace.

But who ever said life would be easy,
Life is full of challenges and they will never be pleasing,
In a sense, Im glad I have this problem to solve,
To man up to this problem will help me evolve.

In this way, math can be a powerful tool,
Math is boring only to the average fool.
I know sometimes math can be a big pain [in the butt],
But at the end of the day, finishing is rewarded with donuts.

You know, my math education must have really sucked because I don't remember anything out of the book. Like I don't think I've even seen it before. The hardest things about logarthims for me was remembering that a log3 = 3 when log = 10. For awhile, I switched it around and made log3=30.
