@BlandVideo I highly agree. The Colbert Show was just as good without writers. And I think Colbert himself must have come up with almost all of that material. He's good at making the best of a bad situation

To remind you, while the writers were on strike, both Colbert and Stewart wrote their own material. It was some of the best I've seen, and I came to love and appreciate them even more. They supported the writers AND stayed on the air.

these shows didn't stop during the writer strike.
all the conan , john stewart episodes were made during the writer strike. i didn't miss an episode of either of the 3 in that time.

colbert spelled with silent t is his characters version lol when its with the t its his actual person thats why when stephan was on o brians show he was like who are u colber or colbert u should watch the charlie rose interview google it

well yes, that's why they went on strike. If they should be getting a profit from their stuff on the internet, they need a new contract that reflects that.

the LA TIMES says 2/3/08...tentative contract reached...
...final contract could be presented to the Writers Guild of America board as early as Friday, ...The 3-month-old strike is expected to end once the board approves the contract.
YAY!!! Light at the end of the tunnel!
