Cleansing Ritual at a temple in Japan!!

This is me when i went to Japan in September 06 on a school trip. At most temples they have this water that you cleanse yourself with, it's a spiritual thing. :)

uh, thats the whole point. it's a communal spiritual cleansing thing. and no i did not spit in the fountain, gross. there was a grate at the bottom you spit into.
