Sometimes diet and exercise is not enough to get rid of excess fat and skin. With the technology of plastic surgery, we can sculpt and shape our bodies into how we want. If you have excess skin and fat in the abdomen you want to get rid of, Ronald Friedman, M.D., located in Plano, Texas, can perform a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty).
Over time, due to aging, weight changes and pregnancy, skin loses elasticity in the abdominal region. A tummy tuck surgery can remove excess skin and fat, reduce stretch marks, and flatten the abdomen overall.
Abdominoplasty is just like any other surgery, which involve post-operative side effects. If you are considering a tummy tuck surgery, the trade off for these side effects will produce significant results.
Our Texas plastic surgeon is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and has owned his private practice since 1996.
For more information, feel free to browse through other procedures, such as liposuction (lipoplasty) or breast augmentation (augmentation mammaplasty,) on Dr. Friedman's Web site.
Very educational clip. I also found plasticsurgerypreparation (.) com to be a good source also.
