  • Please put the official video again! It's a shame they removed it! Everyone should know this amazing band!

  • Hey Ralph,

Warner Bros. won't allow the "real" video to be posted, and they blocked this one too!

So I opened up a dispute with WB, claiming fair use under copyright law for historical and educational purposes, and they have allowed my version to stay up.

I've also posted some live Rain Parade tracks from 1984... David Roback had already left by then to form Clay Allison (Opal) with Kendra Smith. Still some great performances!

  • christ sake warner bros,,,come on share the beauty. No wonder people dont get to hear of great bands due to corporate greed.

  • I love this song! This and Prisoners are my fav songs by this band. I have Emergency, explosions, crashing dream. Great psyche! Thanks for posting

  • I saw these guys at the University of London in about 1984/5 (supported by the superb Scottish act Snakes Of Shake - they made one magnificent album with the awesome Southern Cross on it, which if not already on Youtube shd be posted up here) with my long lost music writing partner Andrew Everett (Neagtive Chidhood Patterns). Happy times indeed. A summer of love!

  • @clayopalstar Jesus. It's 2011. American record companies would be a good model for a study of post-modern entropy. Warner's is particularly lame. Obviously, people wanna see the videos. There's obviously companies willing to pay for the ads. As much as I hate being a slave to commercial considerations, there's absolutely no reason to shut down videos being posted without immediately re-posting them under their own aegis.

  • I can't help but feel the 70's influence of "Starcastle" in this band.

  • Do you have anything from "the Eyes of Mind"

  • love this song! you never get sick of it :)

  • EXCELLENT POST!

  • this should have more views! i love this song! :) it just has some awesome feel to it that makes you wander into another world. (that's what music does to me)

  • Dano (The Freakshow) turned me onto them during one of my trips to San Francisco in the mid-80's. Highly textured, rich tunes. Tame compared to live performances...

  • These guys helped get me through the 80s. I love their music.

  • Emergency Third Rail Power Trip is one of the few albums I listen all the way through & love every song. Very Beatlesque. Also reminds me of The Rembrandts. -not the Theme to Friends, but the rest of that album... (or The Rembrandts reminded me of this)

  • I just found this band under "SImilar artists to The Dukes Of Stratosphear" on Last.fm. This is pretty good.

  • still brilliant this song brings back some memories cheers for posting this .how about talking in my sleep ?

  • Didn't know Will Glenn had passed...saw them in boston back in the day...

  • Fabulous song...RIP Will Glenn.
