wow this is just pure talent,genius . Can you believe that these guys never see half the or riches that mainstream american artists command and they are so much more talented. El Maestro Gonzalez could play anything you hear classical and son montuno its just a miracle a gift given by God . There is nothing like this music it boils your blood.

There's a film entitled "The Gristle"; there's some mambo type background music

played everytime the Latino guy enters a scene. Does anyone happen to know the title to the background mambo music in this film...... i really like the rhythm.

Los supuestos amantes de música cubana solo hablan de pianistas que tocan 3000 notas en un compasso, pero nadie tiene este toque unico e mágico...timming perfecto. Ruben és enorme! En Danzon, Son, Cha Cha Cha, e en Bolero...sus acompanhamentos son incredibles!

Que en paz descanse, Ruben Gonzalez es y seras un tremendisimo pianista. Es una pena que no hayas podido salir del regimen de Fidel Castro. Muchos de los tuyos no pudieron darse a conocer como otros que si pudieron salir. Y todos hemos tenido la oportunidad de apreciar. Gracias a la tecnologia hoy puedo apreciar tu arte, que de otra forma hubiera sido imposible conocerte.
