Grabbed some found footage at the film lab and started messing with it. Used an exact-o knife and fine-point sharpie directly on the strip...everything is backwards because I wasn't sure which side to scratch on :P
Great film. I like how you had the scratches and black marker play off one another (i.e. when you combined the two into a wiping effect). That's some tedious work but you should continue making more of these films if you can find the time.
I just completed a film that uses scratching (though it's not a found footage film) but have yet to receive any input on it. If you ever want to check it out it's called "Framework of Memory" on youtube.
