Battle 56: Cat vs. Riaz

Well, I'm not sure if this one's gonna work, since the first try failed for some strange reason...

Anyways, this one's the first of two battles I had against Riaz (AKA Paiopa.) The other one's still in the process of being edited.

I'm trying something different with the music this time, I'm going to try using Youtube's music, because I can't think of anything suitable that I haven't already used.

Unfortunately, not as often as I should. I tend to stick to Skarmory and Chatot for fliers.

Why did you leave Houndoom in against Tentacruel? Not only did Houndoom have a clear type disadvantage, but it posed no threat to Tentacruel whatsoever. You could've switched to Porygon-Z immediately.

Well, that Houndoom had a Focus Sash for one thing, which was why I left it in until the first water attack, then once it had I decided that it wasn't worth switching out, and kept it in. It may not have been the brightest decision, but it's what I did.

Makes sense, especially when you consider the Toxic Spikes. Still a shame that Houndoom when down so early, since it could have wrecked your opponent's team.

That was a fun battle. I can't believe how close it was. It's funny that this is the first time we've battled in gosh maybe a year? It was definitely neck and neck though. Oh yeah I liked the music. It was a good choice. I'll try and get my version up soon!
