The Grand Ball: Part 4
Amber just told Nick she snuck in to get to the ball.
Nick: YOU DID?! Why are your parents over protective?
Amber: Ha long story.. Ill tell you later (Amber immediately regretted her choice of words)
Nick put his head in his hands. Amber couldnt tell if he was sad or not because of the mask. There was an awkward silence. Amber looked away from Nick and inside where she saw everyone grouping together around the runway stage.
Amber: Hey Nick the runways starting
Nicks POV
She just had to remind me. I was leaving L.A to go to New York tomorrow. Well she really didnt remind me but it was implied. I was really happy that I found a friend here and now she was going to leave. Like everyone else I met in all the other places Ive been. I feel like a user I just cant take doing this. Sure Im friends with Joe and Kevin, and other celebs. But sometimes I just wanted a normal friend. Like Amber. I cant let myself let another friend go away. I had to do something.
Amber: Nick. Hello? Runway?
Nick: Oh ya
He reached his hand for Ambers, and it felt frozen.
Nick: Your freezing
Amber: I know but I love it outside so much I dont care
Nick: O haha
Amber: You know what? (She said while walking inside)
Nick: What?
Amber: You made my day
I cant let her go.
Melissas POV
Melissa: Oh shit the runway almost forgot!
Joe: I cant go Im still wet! (He said while getting up and slipping and hitting the floor)
Joe: Owwww!
Melissa: Come on! Ms. Morkets gonna kill me!
She picked Joe off the floor and pulled him into the ballroom. They walked in front of people until they got to a spot where they could see. Or at least where Melissa could see.
Joe: Let me jump on your back
Melissa: Hahaha funnyNo
Joe: Cmon all I can see is this elephants hat in front of us.
The fat lady in front of them turned around
Fat Lady: You know what I can do to a kid like you?
Joe: What eat me?
Melissa: Im so sorry miss!
Melissa pulled her and Joe away and found another place to stand. Melissa pressed her fingers against Joes mouth so he couldnt open it.
Melissa: Keep.Ur...Mouth...Closed
Joe shook his head. And he and Amber watched the casual wear portion of the runway.
Joes POV
Pretty colors. Reds Oranges Yellows all the fall colors. His favorite outfit on the runway was a black orange and red printed coat with white pants and a brown button up shirt. HE WOULD LOOK LIKE A LEAF IF HE WORE THAT SICK! Just then the runway show ending and the designers who contributed to it walked out and bowed.
Melissa: That was amazing!
Am I allowed to talk know. Geese one day with this chick and shes already acting like my mother.
Joe shook his head.
Melissa: You can talk know
Joe: Thank god! You know how hard that was?
Melissa: Ahah I bet it was
Joe: How would you know?
Melissa: First of all your Joe Jonas everyone knows you love to talk. Secondly I saw having a seizure standing there hahaha
Joe: Oh yaaa that
Melissas POV
I felt someone tap my back. I turned around to see a middle aged man with no hair and glasses looking at me.
Melissa: Hello?
?: Hi Im Mr. Kneel
Melissa: Oh nice to meet you
Mr. Kneel: Same here.. Listen one of our models dropped out of the formal wear part of the show. And you are her exact size would you mind filling in?
Joe: Sure! Just make sure you use light blue eye shadow it makes my eyes pop!
Melissa rolled her eyes at Joes joke to seem mature around Mr. Kneel
Melissa: Id love to
Mr. Kneel: Great come with me!
Joe looked angry
Joes POV
I was angry. Who was I supposed to hang out with now Nick? I mean thats great but ever since he ditched me saying Im bored I havent even seen.
Joe: Hey! Wait up!
Melissa stopped about to turn around but Mr. Kneel pulled her along end eventually got her backstage.
Joe: Dont forget about our dance!
I wonder if I can sneak in back there?
