Might be handy to link related games at the end of you videos. Thanks for posting.

is the map a paper mab or a thick board type map like arkham horor?
-
i think theres 3 types of decks

Does every single shadow character have its own deck to draw from, or are they all shared?
-
Haha!
If it's good - it's a Board Game.
If it's not - it's a Boring Game.

I had been looking at this game since it first came out, and had my eye on it since it was announced. Thanks for the review Tom, I think I may purchase this game now.

Also, I have to disagree with his comment about it being complex. For as many components in the box, I thought it was pretty straight forward. Sure, the Sauron player has a harder job, but the individuals characters were pretty easy to pick up. Certainly nothing compared to most euro games like Agricola or Power Grid.

Looks great. The only thing i missed is how different melee/ranged preferences of the fighting characters are affecting the damage. Because in this example both elf and troll were using melee and ranged and I didnt notice what advantage troll had in melee and elf in ranged.
Also, do you have to shuffle when you take back cards from the rest pool?
You don't get an advantage, the circles just indicate how many ranged vs melee cards are in their deck. For example, the troll would have 4x as many melee as ranged cards.
And yeah, I'm pretty sure you shuffle them.

Yes you have to shuffle any time you put cards into your life pool.
Each Card has a effect to that round of combat or the next round which makes a differance between range and melee cards.
