David Scott is one of the most precise players that I have ever seen play live in my entire life. His skill is just incredible. His band Tuff Luck were amazing as well. I am sure that you will enjoy this little glimpse of guitar greatness. I still remember seeing his picture along side of Shawn Lane in Guitar World magazine in the Spotlight section. He surely deserved that and I wish that more people knew of his great talent.
Rock on Dave!
Bio Information:
Dave Scott has been a musician since the age of 7. He spent most of his life playing guitar and song writing. He started playing in local clubs by age 14 and within a few years started earning a living as a guitarist. At the age of 17, he had his first record, "Tuff Luck" released on an Indie Label. It sold over 50,000 copies. During this time he was featured in many National Publications such as, "Guitar Player", "Guitar for the Practicing Musician" and "Guitar World" magazines, just to name a few.
In 2002 Dave moved to the Los Angeles area to further his career. He spent most of that year working on a project with the late great, Tony Thompson, drummer of Power Station, David Bowie and many others. In 2003 he was doing recordings and live shows with vocalist, Matt Kramer of Saigon Kick. During 2004-2005 he worked on a project, Martyr Plot, with drummer, Ginger Fish of Marilyn Manson. 2006-2008 he was a part of the Los Angeles based group, The Forward. Late 2007 they recorded their debut CD, which is due to be released in August of 2008. Currently Dave is working as a session guitarist.

Carey, not that it matters much but Dave was not 16 here. I have known Dave since middle school. When he was 16 he was in a high school band called Invader with my big bro then Cryer then Tuff Luck. He is probably 20 or 21 in this video depending on the year.

Scott Marino wasn't bad either. There were lots of good players in that area back then, but Dave was one of the most exciting. Great band! Tuff Luck!!!

I HAVE THAT GUITAR from him!! Chandler if I remember he was a rep for them
I got it from him around 1989 or 90. I played it on Sundays in South Beach using a Mesa Boogie .22. What a killer axe it is, has the perfect combination of components Kiss approached him at one time to play with them. Dave is a great guy!
