I remember this game well. Georgia Tech barely won this game and nobody knew just how good Maryland actually was that year...Maryland started the year 8-2.

they had a sick ass defense that year,but seriously, what the fuck happened to their defense after jon tenuta left for ND?i mean, their defense was good last year because their d-line was sick as fuck, but this year our secondary is getting torched and since we lost 3 of our defensive linemen, we can't get any pressure on the qb's. gt better step up their defense quickly for the vt game tomorrow 'cause as a gt fan, i don't wanna waste 80 bucks on lower sideline tickets to see them get blown out.

everyone was yelling so loud, nobody on campus had their voice back for several days.
that was such a scary but awesome way to end a game.

It was definitely the loudest series I've ever heard in about 200 games at BDS@HGF in my lifetime. The upper east deck shook and swayed. (It also shook when GT recovered the fumble in the end zone to end the 2008 F$U game.)

Attended that game with my daughter. Loudest I believe I have heard the stadium - including the UGA '99 win. She looked spooked and I could feel the stadium moving. Awesome game.
