Declare? Our money and we can do as we wish with it. The government needs to make things right for Canadians and stop touching our money in every single situation trying to dictate how we spend it. The cost of living here is too high , products/food are too expensive and the work out here is usually not enough to live comfortably. So of course we will try and save a buck by shopping where things are cheaper we are not stupid. If I can save half price I will try and stop me... Good luck.

That sucks. But hypocrates up there should analyze themselves BEFORE criticizing American officers for doing the same. The U.S is more conservative but that DOESN'T make us more racist. Canadians and Europeans think they're more educated and open minded but they're STILL racist toward some of their ethnic minorities and immigrants. I've heard "interesting" things about the Canadian border officers TOO: people getting fined, things taken away, rude interrogation, prejudice, long searches, etc.

Don't feel bad,Canadians...residents of Massachusetts (which has a huge state sales tax) who shop in New Hampshire (which has no sales tax) are routinely harassed and abused by Massachusetts State Police there are endless stories of "undercover" Mass State Police cars staking out the parking lots of NH malls and then nabbing the cars they see with Mass plates as they re-enter Massachusetts.I guess that,in Canada...as in the US...it's all about the dollars.

This is so stupid! Canadian businesses (I mean Ontario) have the worst customer service, and sometimes don't even try to be competitive. They think that Canadians have no other choice but to shop at crappy Canadian stores. If more Canadians went to the States to shop, then maybe Canadian businesses would start to clue in and improve themselves.
