Fire in the Hole! Russian T34 Tank fires gun at War and Peace 2008

Experience the ride inside a Russian T34/85 tank as it drives round the war and peace show arena, stops and fires off two rounds then makes good it's escape. Understand why they say the T34 is a hard tank to drive as you watch John drive this historic tank and how small the space is inside what is quite a large vehicle.This tank was involved in the Russian push into Berlin, Germany leading up to the end of the second world war. Thank you for your comment. I'm not 100% sure what the crew wouyld do in a battle situation. This was filmed at the war and peace show a couple of years ago. The empty shell cases are kept for re-use. They have been modified to be able to use them for these displays and will be cleaned out and reloaded for the next use. I have another video filmed recently of another couple of shots being fired. I will post this soon.

I think this is the best video from inside a tank I've seen :) It was nice to see how you operate the gear lever, reload the gun etc. What do you normally do with the empty shells in battle situation? Do you put them back in the ammo rack or just leave on the floor and throw out afterwards?
