Oil pulling is an ancient detoxification art that started in India as oil gargling thousands of years ago.

Doing oil pulling is easy. Just take a tablespoon of raw vegetable oil and swish it around in your mouth for five minutes. Doing so activates enzymes that have a powerful detoxifying affect on our entire system; they literally pull toxins, bacteria, fungus, and other nasty bugs from the mouth and the entire body, helping to cleanse our blood. Since our mouths are a focal point for bacteria and microorganisms that mix with our saliva and eventually reach our bloodstream, you can see how wiping these bad guys out with oil pulling makes a profound impact on our bodies.

According to long-time devotees, oil pulling has the power to alleviate migraine headaches, asthma, diabetes, bronchitis, diseased teeth, chronic blood disorders such as leukemia, arthritis, eczema, heart and kidney disease, meningitis, hormonal disorders, etc.

  • In late October my doctor told me I had type 2 diabetes. I just learned about the many benefits of coconut oil 6 days ago. I did not learn about oil pulling until yesterday evening. So, I did about 7 minutes of oil pulling yesterday evening. Today, after breakfest and lunch, I have noticed that my blood sugars are back are at or near the normal range after 2 hours, like they are supposed to. So, people should know, coconut oil alone didn't help as much as having done the 'oil pulling' as well.

  • @MrDan6779 Nice! Thanks for sharing :).

  • Like they say, it's worth a try. I've done sillier things.

  • @viciousLUA Interesting, I thought it was boys that 'steal' a woman's looks during pregnancy. Hopefully the oil pulling will help.

  • I do oil pulling mainly for my gums and so far it appears to be stabilizing my gum issues or keeping them from getting worse. For this reason, I continue to do it.

  • wow. this is AWESOME! thanks for sharing.

  • I'm on day 2 of oil pulling. Gonna give it 2 weeks to see if it works for me. I thought it'd be hard since I have a sensitive gag reflex but I've been doing well even at 15 minutes. :)

  • Can this help with skin problems such as acne? I always had acne and it got worse when I became pregnant, considering I was having a girl & girls 'steal' your looks when you're pregnant (Old wives tale). Im just wondering if this will help.

  • You inspired me, you got my attention and I started doing oil pulling since the day I started watching it ( Thank you ) I came here to watch something else and I ended up learning something else also. I guess this is the easiest way to detoxify...life can't be simpler than this. Thank you and bless you :)

  • im doing it right now! its a little weird lol
