MMA Hellfires working in LOAL and LOBL modes together with the outstanding MMA AH64D custom HUD made by Defunkt.

First a single Hellfire is fired in LOAL-DIR mode and few secs later another friendly unit transmitted a remote target which was locked on by the AH64 pilot and destroyed by the Hellfire already in flight.

After that other enemy units are directly located by the Apache and destroyed by Hellfires fired in LOBL mode using monocle and onboard TV MFD.

  • is there a way to not use the HuD but simply the normal hellfire mode. all i want is the hellfire camera

    Using the script suite, you can remove the HELLFIRE HUD modes from mando_missiles\huds\mando_hud_­ah64.sqf, leaving there only the navigation mode.

  • In Janes Longbow, one of the cool things was terrain masking where you would hide behind a hill with your radar off, stick your mast mounted radar above the hill, let the radar sweep once and "detect" all of the enemy tanks on the other side. Remask, assign a target to individual hellfires, set the hellfires to ripple fire mode, unmask from behind the hill, hold down the fire button and launch all 16 hellfires downrange for 16 kills within a few seconds. That is the advantage of the D variant.

  • @valdellar Thanx, ive desactivated MMA and place the two choppers to engage without any mods, and its the same story, theyll just fly around....-_-

    But with MMA the choppers actually DO fire at armored at ground units with perfect accuracy. But anyways thanx for your help.

  • @RockRebel1998 MMA does affect missiles fired by AI, but doesnt affect when the AI decides to use them. MMA incorporates scripts to create special MMA AI units that will fire when and against what the mission editor wants.

  • @valdellar Thank you for the reply, so actually MMA only takes affect in the player, AI doesnt use MMA right? well thanks anyways.

  • @RockRebel1998 , that's a question for BIS, MMA doesnt affect when the standard units dedice to use their standard weapons.

  • @valdellar Hey, why is it that when theres a Heli vs Heli battle, my oponents wont fire at me? theyll just fly around me for some reason and never shooting, then i did a special test, i placed a K-52 and a AH-64D in front of each other, both flying and all did was fly around the map for 5 minutes, help please?
