I was 18 and very immature, away from home for the first time at college, dumped by my "Prince Charming", sitting on the exam table in the ER after having tried to OD on my roommate's asthma medication, singing this song to myself........made me feel better because 'THAT'S THE WAY I FELT ABOUT HIM". Years later I found out that he was a burn-out loser momma's boy jerk. Time to write a new song!

Jesse's songs make my heart soar, so very beautiful, just love this song! Takes me back to his concert in La Jolla, Ca at the Elephant Bar, where after signing his album, "Perfect Stranger", he kissed me on my cheek, how cool! Thanks, Jesse!

Jesse I lost my Husband a little over 5 yrs. ago-he was a big fan of yours-he was a very special man-I miss him so-we used to listen to Ridgetop and Miss Hesitation and all of the Young Bloods-I have had a hard time of it w/out my "ole Man" but I have your music to remind me of "the good life" Thanks so much!
