Best Buy Failed to Deliver on a Promise

Recently, there have been a few red flags raised in reference to some of the bad customer service decisions they've made recently when I've gone in to make purchases.


The most recent example of this came when I brought a 10% off coupon in to the store to use on a new cable modem I was getting for a service upgrade I'm having done at my home. To my surprise, the cashier denied the coupon because the word modem didn't appear anywhere on the coupon printout (even under the list of exclusions).

those fucks wanted mew to buy a new service plan on a replaced tv from not so best buy they claimed that my first 4 year warrenty covered the replacement of the 2nd tv so i bitched at bestbuy corprate they told me i was in the right so 2 months later and 2 8hr days on phone wuith these fucks i got my money back

It's the nature of the business, you should know that everywhere you shop you are taking your chances and you shouldn't be surprised when you get rip off. You think the laws are designed to protect you? or designed for them to make money?

This video has made me decide to never shop at best buy because ive had very similar experiences. So I guess they lost 100% of two people

Best Buy is the worst. I suggest buying at Target or somewhere else...

@Josh Zigmond he shouldn't have to go to the manager, as are the rules of capitalism and customer satisfaction. That business must deal with the consequences of its flaws... Like going to a fast-food place and waiting an hour to get your food.

@Josh Zigmond he's not raging over $8. He's raging over the fact that he was offered something and didn't get it. What if someone offered to give you something and didn't give it to you after you paid, let's say, $70-80? Every dollar counts, so even if it was just the $8, he'd still have a real reason to be mad. Also, if you listened to the whole video, this isn't the first time something like this has happened.

They did me dirty on two computers also. I got he waranty & they said I couldl just bring them in & get them replaced no questions asked. I checked in NYC & Deleware & they both said the same thing & then I go to the service desk & they said something totally different. I'm writing to the corperate office. I ain't gonna get dis work!!

There's only one I ever walk into a best buy store...so I can see and touch the product i'm looking at ordering online from an e-tailer :P I walk in, look at it, say "yup, I like it" then go home, log into newegg or tigerdirect and place my order, lol.
