"I've decided on eleven fires
to light the way to my heart ..."
in the 1980's there used to be a venue in Oxford called The Caribbean Club. It was in an old school building in St. Ebbes. We'd always go there after the pubs closed because you could drink Red Stripe until two in the morning and there'd usually be some local band playing on the little stage. Anyway, one night, Nige and Trev's roadie 'Tommy' is walking down the street and he bumps into this posh rich bloke called 'Allum' who he hadn't seen for ages. 'Allum' used to hang around with us but he was always different. Well brought up like, you know, not short of a bob or two. Anyway, Tommy says to him 'Hey Allum! Long time no see. Where you off to then?' 'Oh We're going to the Caribbean' Says 'Allum', his arm round a pretty girl. 'Great. Who's playing tonight?' replies Tommy all excited. 'Allum' looks slightly embarrassed. 'Er..no. We're going to the CARIBBEAN'. Tommy watched them walk off with their suitcases. The girl wasn't really THAT pretty...
Here are the lyrics if you want to sing a long:
I've decided on eleven fires
to light the way to my heart
yaow yaow baby yeahh
plunder them
Where you off to then
Oh we're going to the Caribbean
Says Allum, his arm round a pretty girl.
Great who's playing tonight replied Tommy
All excited.
Allum looked slightly embarrassed.
Er no we're going to the Caribbean
Tommy nodded and watched them walk off.
Do you see what I'm trying to say
Do you see what I'm trying to say
The bloke thought
Baby Jesus
Were Tommy and Allum
the same height ?
Yup
The same weight?
Yes
Ehh Ehh
So you could say they were the same size?
Exactly
The next morning Tommy woke up with a
Red Stripe hangover
Fully clothed on his Louise's sofa
Light the way
blubbered blubbered
To my heart
beep beep
Light the way
I've decided on eleven fires
Light the way
blubbered blubbered
Plunder them
Light the way
Eleven ways
Plunder them
The way
Eleven fires
My heart

Well cover me in Gentleman's Relish and let the cats loose!!! The Perry Smith verbal explosion is only slightly less disorienting than a gallon of Erdinger - I think I have a sample of my own secreted on an old cassette tape - usually punctuated with Chaucerian expletives, it is a wonder of the natural word. This is little montage is riddled with more mysterious references than Holy Blood, Holy Grail but a naughty experience to be sure. ftlpope

How DARE you ! ...I counted 12 fires in this video. But that aside I am concerned about the health and safety issues raised here. That Wall is clearly unsafe and should be rebuilt immediately. And how did you pull those faces without the aid of special effects. No doubt your aliens friends have a lot to answer for... SHEER GENIUS !!
