@disturbed4everluke I'm from the US and I loved LTROI. I am curious about the US version, but I'm really scared that Hollywood screwed the pooch in an attempt to make their own version. Let's face it, whenever you make a copy of something, quality is lost (degradation) and LTROI has a beautifully, haunting soul that can not even be copied.

The american remake was very good. not great, but good. Don't hate on it just cos its the american remake...... doesn't mean its automatically bad. Although i wish they would stop remaking foreign movies and come up with their own original storylines or adaptions of books.
