If you get punched few times in the face and turn your back to the oponent and lay on the ropes, it means you SURRENDER. You simply cant do this. and if you do it automatically means that you've lost. It's not that referee CAN stop the fight at this point. He MUST do it.

pre-mature stoppage! The ref should have given Hino Ehikomenor a chance by giving the mandatory 8 counts...and he could have warned Heno not to turn to his side or turn his back. Hino should learn from this, so that next time he is in trouble, just take a knee and be counted upon to get back to your senses, then continue whatever plan is next to be done.
