way nicer than the -20s we occasionally experience in iowa. living there looks really interesting. wish i could go there, but i'm not some sort of super important scientist :(

Im from Scotland, UK....Is it basiclly impossible to get to that kind of place unless im a full fledged scientist?

Or you have to get hired to maintain the station, which is what I did. Doesn't the UK have a station down there?
