Advanced Custom Search Configuration - Nick Weininger and Joel Brandt

For those who are attending Google I/O 2009(http://code.google.com/io/), these video are an opportunity to hear from some of the speakers in advance. The speakers introduce their topic and provide a preview of one or more topics that will be covered in their talks.

he focus of this session is on configuring your own Custom Search engine to let your users search the sites and topics that are relevant to you. We will discuss how to create dynamic search engines using Linked Custom Search and how to use XML to programmatically provision custom search engines. We will enumerate some of the ways in which you can embed search and ads on your site and customize the look and feel of the search results. Additionally, we'll talk about how Adobe Systems is integrating Google Custom Search Engines into products to improve designer and developer workflow.

  • The Advance Custom Search makes searching through Google A lot easier and more specified.

  • Was your talk recorded? If so, is it posted on YouTube or elsewhere?

  • u can suck my balls u fucking gay ass faggot homo ur mum rides whores

  • How about posting your talk on YouTube? I'm in NY - no way can come to hear you but would love to listen/watch your presentation on YouTube.

  • Are you saying that Google is going to let people create custom search engine results that they can sort themselves and promote their own XML feeds on their search results...? If so this will be huge on crowd sourcing - will feeds then have a twitter follow type interface...? And what would be cooler is if you get a % of all adwords profits from your custom search engines that you organized yourself. Kinda like content sites that host adsense.

Or am I looking into this way too much...?!
