I had never heard of this band but I think they sound like Evanesence with Amy Lee. I just talked to my son and he told me that he knew who they were and he likes 2 of their songs: "Angel" and "Wishmaster".

Comparisons with Evanesence are inevitable, of course, but I believe that Nigthwish has a more powerful singing voice, themes that fit better with the metal spirit and one promising. Special suggestion: Listen to "The Poet and the Pendulum" from their latest album. Or better yet, I'll send it to you.
