Couldn't find part 2 . Is it still up? My first bow didn't look quite so good I used Elm, It dried out on me and became too hard to work (Plus I cut into the back tree ring)

When i see people cutting trees, i always wonder why cut it so high? if you cut lower to the ground wont it just give you more wood to work with?

It had a bit to do with the thickness at the bottom as well as the shape where I actually cut it (less work later). Also I went back and cut the rest that was left for a bow drill set!

I'm inspired to make one now, and ashamed to say that I've always been to idle. That looks wicked, love the handle and the arrow rest. I can see from the video that it sits cumfy in your hand. Can't wait to see the finished article in action 5*
