I liked it. Better then temple of doom. Everyone hates the fridge scene. Really? Because its not real they say. Just like when they survive jumping out of a plain in a raft. Or jump a mine Cart track 100 yards. Or the grail saved his dad. Or he lands a plan with a shot off tail wing. Please just get over the fridge.

Here's my view on the aliens. They did not change the genre of the films.The genre really is serial adventure dealing with the supernatural.Now if it had been about something like Indy repelling an invasion from Mars, then I'd agree that they changed things too heavily.As it stands it was still about Indy going after an ancient artifact, and fighting some bad guys, as well as having his own character arc.It did not change the supernatural of Indy's world, just showed in through a different lens.

why this movie annoyed me
1. it was no secret; EVERYONE knew it was gonna be aliens and Indy's son.
2. how many skulls were actually FOUND in this fucking movie!?!?!?!?
3. EVERYTHING LOOKS TOO CLEAN!!
4. we get it, we're in the 1950's -_-
5. Indy is doing IMPOSSIBLE stunts for his age.
6. too many coincedences
7. stupid fucking cg monkeys scene...
8. The fridge.

@thetruegladiator I don't see how that ruined the franchise, especially since it's no different from immortal knights, ghosts that'll melt your face, or having your heart pulled out and being alive.

I actually like this movie, except the scene where Mutt swings with a bunch of monkeys. That was pretty cringeworthy but other than that, LOVE IT!
