maybe Damnrandall doesn't understand manu chao's music... he even played a mariachi song it was great
but
radiohead is the most innovative band in the last 20 years, and their music doesn't all sound the same... it was an amazing set

i was up in the front for this whole performance. i was in the middle of the pit when it started. I was sooooo fucking tired afterward.

I agree with you concerning Radiohead. I left before the end.
Another good show by Manu Chao and radio bemba.
He's a superstar in France so it was very strange to jump all the show long among radiohead's fans. Around me some of them were lied on curtains! Amazing!
Very good souvenir to finish the vacation in US.

got there for the last 5 songs... freaking Muni lagged it.
but yeah, i don't think the crowd was into it enough... or people into it were mixed into to a bunch of folks just waiting out radiohead. can't blame but kept trying to dance and just felt awkward with all the still standing people around me.
by the looks of the crowd when i was there it was as small of a spanish speaking crowd as i've seen for manu chau.
shoulda gone to watch him in tijuana that sunday for $20.

So many of his songs sounded exactly the same. I was digging him for the first 5-10 minutes, but then when I realized he was playing the same song over and over, I got tired fast and couldn't wait for Radiohead.

I agree with elpretzel and dja115. Had the same feeling jumping among still standing people. It was definitely a wrong crowd. Last year at Bill Graham Civic auditorium was a blast!!!

May be you are not able to understand the international music? :) Manu Chao is actually one of the best live performers. For me Radiohead's songs were all same. I left after 10 min.
