Z8nate regarding policy McCain is staunchly in favor of continuing a very unpopular war and starting more wars while simultaneously being very leftist on issues such as abortion and gun ownership. Who the hell thinks like THAT? McCain's no conservative. Zionism and war profiteering in tandem with abortion and restrictive gun regulation does not a traditional conservative make. I'm not sure I should stoke your fire for saying this but. . .If America voted for Presidents the same way we vote on American Idol, maybe Ron Paul would have a chance. But we don't, and he doesn't. Most people do NOT want to legalize illicit drugs and have no clue what the Federal Reserve even is. Then why should they even care who Ron Paul is? They don't.

Wizard, be reasonable. Are you saying that NATIONAL support for John McCain is fabricated out of thin air? He is not my first choice, I am conservative, I will be voting for him come November. So are tens of millions of conservatives. This primary cycle shows that conservatives are a vocal contingent of the Republican party comprising of about 1/3 - 3/5 of the Rep. electorate. the other 2/3 - 2/5 are solid McCain voters. Ron Paul has a RABID 1/10 part support. Simple math, my friend.

Z8nate even the hardcore pro war Republicans can't stand McCain. The Democrats don't like McCain and the anti war Ron Paul Republicans don't like him so who's left? Most importantly I haven't actually seen any sign of McCain support whatsoever and that's what makes me the most suspect of these supposed primary victories he's had.
