@1MrSpider Rasululllah said the scholars are the warathul anbiyaa. i.e. inheritors of this knowledge. This man you speak ill of has isnaad and ijaaza back to the great Imam Malik and imam ash'ari etc. he is not only a da'i, he teaches serious fiqh if you had a clue. The flesh of the scholars are poison, i suggest you stop eating his flesh.

@1MrSpider : in addition please have more respect than to call him "this guy," this is a man who has given many years of his life and yes he does teach many books with an isnad that he is part of. this is just a fact. please do not limit the mercy and guidance of Allah by saying scholars only exist in the past. jazakum Allah khair

@1MrSpider: not every scholar is a muhadith. there are scholars of different sciences. i have sat under sheikh hamza briefly and sheikh hamza is more than just a da'iy, believe me. he spent many years living in the desert of mauritania studying under murabit al hajj and some of the biggest scholars there. you cannot just his knowledge based on a conference lecture. a conference has a different audience and requires a different kind of speech.

@americanmuslimgirl That's true he is not perfect I don't agree with some of his views like sainthood. Only Allah knows who is Saint or not. Unless mentioned by Prophet Muhammad himself.

But having said that he is still someone I do listen to and respect.

I have yet to meet a perfect Imam. Maybe in Jannah when I meet our Prophet Muhammad PBUH. Allah knows best.

@DivineTheism Well I have always wondered that myself but if I were to portray the Muslim girls in those clothes to public would I not be just as bad? We all know what is a revealing clothing vs what is a modest clothing.

I would like to know if everyone got the gist of this lecture? He's talking about Liberty...and how ppl. think that "Oh, I'm in America. I'm FREE to live as I like." Ppl. only later find out that unlinking one's self from Allah leads to bondage to self. Getting enslaved to a lower way of life. I learned the hard way in good ol usa..that true independence comes from dependence on ALLAH. Don't be fooled by that word FREE. It can become an EXPENSIVE lesson.
