LAURA -- CAPÍTULO 1 -- Pere y los garbanzos

Pere (Bernat Quintana) quiere ser mayor y por eso se afeita... ¡con tan sólo 12 años! Su hermano le dice que, para que todo crezca, tiene que comer garbanzos. Pero María (la cocinera-asistenta-etc., estudiante de Antropología y que prepara una tesis doctoral) le cuenta que, según una tribu india, comer garbanzos atrae el espíritu de la desgracia. Y así es, en efecto: no le crece la barba, el microondas se ha estropeado y... su madre se separa de su padre.

Pere (Bernat Quintana) wants to shave himself like his brother... but he's only 12 years-old! His brother tells him he has to eat lots of chickpeas if he wants everything to grow. But María (the cook- cleaning lady, etc., who is studying Anthropology) tells him eating chickpeas, according to an ancient indian tribe belief, can only bring disaster and misfortune to their house. She's right indeed: Pere's beard doesn't grow, the microwave is broken and... mum and dad are getting divorced.

Thanks for posting this. Bernat is just as cute today as he was 10 years ago. Not all child actors can say that. I like his hair in this episode, the other one with the crew cut makes him look quite different.

I agree with you! He's a baby face now xDD. Many children in Spain have very short hair, like Bernat when being with the crew. I also fancy him. I used to have the same haircut when I was his age! ;o))

Genial! Que pequeño se ve a Bernat aquí! En los capítulos que subido yo , creo que son el 15 y 16 de la serie Bernat parece algo mayor. En todo caso, su actuación como siempre... perfecta! Me está encantando también la actuación de Roger Coma, el cual, como han dicho ya otros, se parece algo a Max con ese corte de pelo :)

Seems he called Roger Como and appears in lots of films on Youtube. See he did a film with Aina Clotet, Marc's sister. Definitely a strong resemblance to Bernat.

You have to applaud the cast selectors for selecting Bernat's big brother. In this episode he almost looks like Max does these days in El Cor. Anyone know what happened to the actor who plays Bernat's brother?
