Bobo 17 April 08

Bobo possibly has ticks parasite infection and he is on Doxycycline. The vet took blood sample from his ear and it was very 'thin' which caused the platelet count drop drastically. Check bobo's blood report on my blog.

Poor little guy. =( What he looks like he's coughing up is bile, not mucus--it's the right consistency. I've heard dogs tend to do it sometimes when they haven't eaten for a while. Makes sense that he's having the diarrhea, too--too much bile and not enough food causes that, too. That's why your vet gave him some anti-acids.

Hope Bobo gets better soon! It's wonderful to see people who care so much for their animals.

I've had tick-bite fever and it's awful. :-(
