The King of D-Class

Brutus BXI amplifiers are recognized the world over as some of the best subwoofer amplifiers in their class. For SPL, the Super D-Class™ featured in Brutus amps is certain to satisfy. Hifonics® has perfected Super D-Class digital chip technology to provide an extremely efficient, low temperature, high amplification system that others only dream about. The result is a smooth digital to analog conversion with low distortion, even at high listening levels.

This new Brutus line up is Hifonics most versatile yet, offering the more D-class units than any other. Plus, these Brutus amps not only sound great, they look great with an extruded aluminum chassis with diamond-cut cooling fins and an illuminated Hifonics logo.

All are 1-Ohm stable, but also run at 4- or 2-Ohms for a much tighter bass response. Simply put, watt for watt, a Brutus 600 watt plus amplifier produces more audio with less impact on a cars battery and charging system than other amps available today. Translated into cost, thats more wattage output with less battery current used to equaling more watts per dollar.

Super D-Class™
Hifonics exclusive Super D-Class grade microprocessors rely on a super-speed enhanced chip-set to produce higher current capacities and more precise digital to analog conversion. The result is very low distortion, even at high listening levels. Super D-Class possesses a significantly greater efficiency rating than analog and lesser D-Class designs found elsewhere.

Watt for watt in plus-sized auto amplifiers, the Hifonics Brutus series produces more audio (wattage) with less impact on a cars battery and charging system. That equals more wattage output with less battery current used resulting in more real power for the money!

  • do you know if i can play a 2000 watt brutus at .5 ohms?

  • @urpre I do not suggest running any amplifier below the lowest impedance provided by the manufacturer.

  • im running a bxi608 300rms @ 2ohms like its rated and it gets very hot. like burn my hand hot. it it ok safe to continue the run the amp like this?

  • @cantbuyrespect What are you powering with this amplifier? What is the rms of the subwoofer? High eat is typically caused by clipping/distortion, low voltage or inadequate ventilation. If the amplifier hasn't shut down from overheating then you are still safe.

  • I'm running one of the BXi1610D amps in my truck right now at a 2 ohm load. I love this amp and can't even imagine what the new line is capable of. I'm seriously considering putting 2 15" Hifonics in my truck this winter since I love their amps. Drop by and check out my page if you want to see them in action.

  • @ctdv55 Awesome! You have some great vids. Looks like the bass is taking it's toll. Thanks for the support!

  • @larrythestoner415 Happy I could help.

  • @MaxxsonicsUSAInc yeah it was the box, it wasnt tuned for the subs I have, what I did is I sealed the port and now im getting ground pounding bass :D and the excursion on them is ridiculous! not only that but the sound quality at that loud of bass is awsome! thanks for the advice I appreciate it bro, and new video coming soon ill post up the video when I had them ported and ill post another 1 where I have them how they are now, in sealed so u can see the difference

  • @larrythestoner415 You either have low voltage drops causing distortion, improper settings or your box is tuned too high and your sub/box combo do not allow for reproduction of the low notes.

  • I had a question, I have 2 15 inch cvr in a ported box and they are in a suburban and the battery on that thing is kinda weak, and I hooked up a brutus 1606d and my 15s arent bouncing like they should be on the low notes it sounds kinda distorted wat do u think the might be? does it have to do with battery power, how thick the speaker wire is, would I need a stronger battery or possibbly another battery?
