I'm glad this amendment failed. In order to deal with the WHOLE scope of this issue, we have to deal with sex negativity and a reluctance to talk about birth control in schools and our communities. I am pro life but I know that it is tough for a woman to choose to have an abortion. We have to deal with social programs that help women and children too and stop this assault on birth control. I say it was a sad attempt to codify a disdain for women's health rights. Shame shame shame!
