Though WBSK Ch 38 most often squeezes the credits like WBZ (it didn't tonight, hooray!!), the fact that it is never pre-empted is something I'm sure many were envious of tonight as election coverage continues to dominate (and rightfully so) - and thus, I am happy to share with you the full opening, highlights of gameplay, and closing tonight.

This is the first time in 7 years Wheel has visited Hawaii, and quite a bit has changed - notably, the Million Dollar Wedge is bound to come into play at some point in these three weeks.

Unfortunately, to fit the seemingly-small-at-times 10:58 limit, I had to cut the contestant introductions. I tried to whittle it down as far as I could, but still got 12:23.

  • haha i was actually at this recording and it was strange.

  • In what way?

  • Why was the puzzle boarder such a dark blue. It's never been that dark before!

  • My recorder is naturally a bit darker than reality, and since it's outside in the evening the lights can only do so much. I'm relatively sure nothing's actually changed. ;)

  • @CliftonPhotographer It means First Hawaii Show for this remote

    not First Hawaii show ever

They to Hawaii's Big Island in 1996

  • At 0:46 Pat says "We're back,Finally!" so the title "First Hawaii show" is wrong.

  • Just to be at a taping was very surreal, but enjoyable. It's hard not to shout out answers.

  • No Toss Up Puzzles That's wierd

  • Actually, the only part that is covered is the stage (wheel and contestants) area. The audience is not covered so if it rained, the entire show would have been rescheduled for another day of taping. I was a contestant on the show.

  • i watch that one about 2 weeks ago thank you

  • This WOF episode didn't air until late night that November 5, 2008 thanks to 1 hour network evening news on the day after Election Day!

  • It's all covered, so rain isn't too much of an issue. Now if there was a hurricane of tsunami, then they'd have a big problem.
