SbirroFunk plays NOSTALGIC DREAM SONG at Officina Sonora, 29/01/2011

SbirroFunk is a project based in Naples (Italy) and started in 2006 by Giuseppe "Malekà" Caiazzo (turntables, samples, percussions) and the bass player - singer Candido Mormile. SbirroFunk's first work is "SBIRROFUNK SFIDA LA MALA" (2007, Esplanade Records) , an interesting melting pot of scratches, groovy basslines, inspired samples and sophisticated groove. "Nostalgic Dream Song" , a track contained in "SBIRROFUNK SFIDA LA MALA" has been choosen for "FUNK AID FOR AFRICA" compilation (DUBSPOT records, NY), the title track of the album is featured in an italian Funk compilation named FUNK-IN-ITALY. In 2011 the release of their last work "NEOMEDELICO", produced by ESPLANADE RECORDS.
