Thanks for your support, swiftsidewinder. For these 2 events that were conducted, it was left to the presenter what he wishes to read and whether he wants to read the meanings as well. For some presenters, they did a bit of sharing on why they chose that particular surah and those verses to recite. So it was pretty much a free and easy session.

salaam, there will be another session this Saturday at Marina Centre insyallah. Its called Picnic With The Quran. You may pop by in with your family and friends :)

we don't see it as a problem so i know as a rational and peace/joy-loving (i assume) Cristian - you would be able to look beyond that and give us both peace yes?
