Dan Everett spent many years in the Amazon jungle trying to convert the remote tribe of the Pirahã to Christianity, and to learn their language in order to translate the Bible for their use. He did learn their language, but his conversion efforts had an unexpected result... He shared this with the audience at the Freedom From Religion's Convention in Seattle.

@Zentz29 know the history properly,you can find lots of schools,colleges and hospitals started by missionaries, not by any atheist, if you think piraha's life is civilized,it just your innorence,as he was yelling missionaries never destroyed any culture,or never encouraged violence,so many people seen world because of them,so man,it is just spreading hate against Christianity,it is just human nature to"critisise good if we can't do",he dnt know that he was spreading hate towards his own country

Missionaries are those people who changed so many lifes, around the world they helped so many people, they have given education and healthcare and others to people,im sure as an atheist he wont go and help them, there is no motivation, the motivation is christianity, christainity did good to somany people around the world, people like these won't HELP and let others help, if people are heading towards good life because of christainity then no problem at all
