I was watching the postcard documentry the other night which features a version of this as the soundtrack (silvermen) and then checked this song out on youtube, its already up there a couple of times, but none of them sounded as BIG as this song should, hopefully this version is ....

  • I bought this album about sixteen years ago in Avalanche Records in Edinburgh. I always have the CD in my living room and a cassette in my car. It is a wondrous album and this song is truly a massive shiny gem. From Stevie Reid's blistering guitar strangling to the divine Jane Marie O'Brien's ethereal operatic shadowing of Paul Quinn's massive vocal. Words are not enough. There is no best bit of this track. The best bit is 9 minutes and 11 seconds long. If only there was an extended version...
