  • Thanks so much for posting this movie. I grew up on movies like this and haven't been able to watch it since our vcr broke down almost 6 years ago. Thumbs up if your over 8 and still watching this!!! :)

  • all the costumes in this film are cheap-looking. they are not real expensive clothes.

  • Lavinia is jealos of Sara as her manners were lovely and that she was a princess.

  • @mylittelucy My words exactly. If Frances Hodgson Burnett were alive today to watch the film, I have a feeling she'd be very happy with how well her book played out on screen. :)

  • @FanofBewitched In the Shirley Temple version and Liesel Matthews version, the dad doesn't die.

  • Best adaption I have seen of this book so far.^^

  • @FanofBewitched

    Likewise.

  • lavinias the ugly one and jessies no prize either. I love how sara is kind to everyone around her. thats ignorant how miss minchin does'nt think of becky as a young lady just because she was'nt born into wealth. I wish that they still sold clothes like that. they've got some nerve calling her fat to her face and hurting her.

  • So much closer to the book! Love this! And the effort they put into the costumes! The only thing I liked better in the Shirley Temple version was little Becky. I loved the way she goes, "Oh Lo Miss!"

  • Uh, where did beckyn learn to read?
