@azlanamckechnie I agree with you that the earth's rotation will not reverse itself. What will happen I believe is very simple. When the poles switch, west will be still be considered as located to the left of the north pole. So yes, the sun will rise in the west. As for the second day of darkness, well lets say that could be interpreted as an emotional gloom which everybody for sure is going to experience when the poles switch?

@azlanamckechnie yes but as a result of the magnetic poles changing the earth will spin in opposite direction plus remember geographical poles are opposite and thats for a reasonn

If you take a capacitor and hit it with 30,000 volts it becomes an electret. You then wrap it in aluminum foil keeping it shorted out for a week and when you unwrap it and un short it..it's polarity reverses. ie..the positive becomes negative and the negative becomes positive. After doing this the capacitor will self charge and produce constant energy for 11 years.

The earth itself is a giant capacitor and when this happens on earth the core (now positive) will become negative. Expect the worse

Its a misinterpretation of a scientific fact. The magnetic poles flip, not the planet itself. For the sun to rise "from the west" the planet would have to start spinning in the opposite direction. Has nothing to do with magnetic poles

So basically the muslims "rapture" will happen on December 2012? Does that also mean Jesus has returned?
