Hi TSM9356. Thanks a lot for watchin the video mate. And great question. It is quite possible to believe in creation alone on the basis that God is omnipotently able to create whatever He wishes in a nanosecond (He could also create it looking new or "weathered" if He wished). Its also clear that nature does have the capacity in it to adapt and change.

I just believe it was created that way. I do believe what was created on the earth is around 6-7000 years old. There is some discussion on a late or early earth: whether the lump the earth was created out of was already present in when Genesis 1:1,2 said In the beginning... the earth was without form and void. Some feel that the age of the earth is indicative of the fact that the lump was created before God made it into the earth proper in the creation week.

@OptimalElement THE bible is a historical book just like any history book... the fact is history is passed down by word of mouth before it was ever written down, historians have been finding religious texts for hundreds of years, the Romans have records to prove Jesus was born, and was crucified... just as the bible has said... history is fact science is full of theory you can duplicate experiments and not get the same results twice enough said

By ''same results'' it means for other scientists to be able to DUPLICATE results and come to the SAME conclusions.

And what historical evidence supporting religion? What exactly they support? Jesus was resurrected? That there is a God? That there indeed was a burning bush taking to moses? And don't start quoting from the bible! Otherwise I'll start quoting from Harry Potter books to prove Hogwarts exists.

So from observations, experiments and physical evidence that backed up by geology, genetics, fossil record etc. different areas of science that gave same results and conclusions, evolution so far is the best explanations for how life came to be and its the only one that makes sense. What about intelligent design? If evolution is only an ''idea'' ... well i'm sorry my friend, then intelligent design/god's work is no more than a fantasy that has NO evidence at all.

Well, its the best explanation based on tests and observations. Same as we know atoms exist (or at least the idea) from experiments, test and observations. Same way we understand human biochemistry and various biochemical cycles based on experimental results, we know how body works but its only an ''idea'' as you would say. But yet when we apply our understanding of atoms and biochemistry we manage to develop medicines. Cure many disease. Then surely what we know must be true.

And i repeat, in SCIENCE word THEORY has a complete different meaning. Theory of planetary motion, theory of gravity, theory of atoms, quantum theory, theory of relativity and on and on.... In science when you have an idea it is a hypothesis from made observations. Carry out controlled experiments, obtain evidence, data and consistent results. Submit you work for peer review and if other scientists can replicate your results then your idea becomes a THEORY.

Em...yes there ARE facts. The ignorance of people like you, you simply don't want to see facts. Scientists have observed species change and even transform into new species as happened with bacteria and Ensatina salamanders.
