(I apologize for the glare of the ceiling fan... I'm a newbie at recording!)

  • DIANA / MARY / FLO - irreplaceable!

I am soo in love with this right now! Gotta go watch PART 5 =D

    - JLG | JonathanLGardner

  • America's Princesses, and the real Queen of Young America was the gorgeous one

on the far left, Blondie Ballard.

What cousin was trying to say was that Flo was no dummy, she felt her star was

every bit as bright as the lead singer's, and refsed to kill herself to make the other

    lady into a superstar.

  • some are knocking the 1960s but out of the 60s came the black power movement, hippies and this computer we are comunicating on right now.many laid down their lives so black music could be played.on southern radio curtis's we are winners was not played on southern radio stations.those southern crackers wanted nothing to do with that song( THAT WE ARE TRUE FROM THE GOOD BLACK DIRT,WERE WINNER AND EVERYBODY KNOWS THE TRUTH WE JUST KEEP ON PUSHING LIKE OUR LEADERS TELL US TO) THANK YOU CURTIS!

  • i would never trade a day growning up in the 1960s for anything.i saw on one of the pages it was more then likely a youngen telling some one to go back to the 60s.If there wasnt for the 60s there would be no you.this stuff they slap together and call music stinks.thet manufacture groups now. a rappers career is usually 5 years at most.most female groups may make 5 years.no one plays instruments anymore a keyboard or sound board does the work, many cannot sing.its really sad.

  • the music business is a cut throat business.it can also be a rewarding business.martha and the vandellas had their falling outs too but it was not aired so much as the supremes.the spinners, temptations when you have very talented people together it happens.too many chiefs and not enough indians.growing up they all brought us so much joy.all of my baby sitting money went to albums.we use to have contest to see who got the new motown single first.it was a very chaotic time and a very good time.

  • Just be careful with assumptions there's always two sides to everything. Here it looks like three or four.

  • As I say the downfall of everything is when you forget where your from, and true Barry could not control Flo so Diana was the lead singer and it turned out her and Barry had a love child. Flo had a strong voice and it's too bad she got the short end of the stick.

  • @sammy7819 I'm sorry to butt in but in all honesty, Mongo76 is right. Berry wanted Florence, but she wasn't the kind of woman you could control. Diana Ross was, but she only let him control her so that she could be pushed up in her career.

  • cant wait til there movie come out

  • @femalegeek5 lol...you are funny!
