You dont know much about boats , motors or drives. The 7.4 motor ONLY has a max of 330 Horsepower...NOT 400 and all the internals inthat motor are cast parts. Running that drive up like you are doing is going to blow the U-joints and then you are going to understand what EXPENSIVE is. Keep running it fast like youo are doing and making quick turns...you are going to hook a chine and then your stupid ass is going to be upside down.
