Peace takes courage! It can be scary to go against the dominant current in a society that supports imperialist occupation in Iraq & Afghanistan! Also, I feel for those suffering in Libya but where was the US when so many in Darfur were the victims of genocide & needed assistance from other countries to stop the killing? I guess Darfur didn't have the natural resources or oil the rest of the world was interested in protecting!

300,000 people demonstrated against the vietnam war in DC on 1 day 40 years ago. there were massive demonstrations on campuses all over the usa. students essentially stopped the massacre. students 2day r brain dead & apathetic. they wouldnt care if there were rivers of blood flowing in af'stan. social justice & humanitarian concerns count 4 nothing 2 them. they dont lift a finger to stop the death of millions of innocent people. may as well close the universities. these kids are useless
