@glukometr2 Makes sense... when I use tablets it does an extra rinse before the rinse cycle, which heats up... this might be part of the Detergent Aware function! x

[...] The special programme sequence is activated if:
► the electronics module detects low rinse aid
► the rinse-aid refill indicator is deactivated
The “Intensive drying” additional function can still be selected, but it has no effect on the rinse-aid temperature.
The maximum temperature increase is 3 K."
So this function only changes drying and final rinsing. Doesn't do antyhing with salt and water hardness.

Ok, that's what I've found in BSH service book:
"If combined detergent products (e.g. 3 in 1) are used, the drying result will be worse. To improve the drying result, a special programme se-quence with less water is started in the intermediate rinse cycles. In addition, the final rinse temperature is increased by 3K (as for inten-sive drying). The heat exchanger is filled a second time in the drying cycle with the saved water for subsequent drying support. [...]

@glukometr2 I wouldn't be able to tell you, it just says in the manual and brochure it is "Detergent Aware" and adapts itself to different detergents. Bosch dishwashers are the same
