There better not be one person there that goes to church! Help the poor, feed the needy as Jesus did, but if this mother has a hernia so bad that her intestines are protruding from her body..screw her, I'm not paying for it...If we change to socialism healthcare, does that make us status lovers? Satan loves the greed in this room, instead of "you made your own choices" A Christian would want healthcare for the poor. I pay $445 a month for our insurance-1mom 3kids) and I spend 60 a month on food!

cry me a river, single mother. you've made terrible choices in your life and it's not everybody else's fault.

I & my husband both worked from our teens on, he served 10 yrs. in the army. He's worked with the mentally challenged, troubled youth & as a security guard receiving numerous awards & letters but rarely making more than $8. an hr. Yet he never had employee health care offered & in Ky. only people out of work with minor children or receive SSI get Medicaid.

this just showes all republicans are idiots and want america to fail

If you are trying to get people to see your side of the story and feel sorry for this woman and her child, you have failed miserably. I have no more empathy left, Obama and his minions have sucked me dry.

@OdinHyrule Please...the adults are talking. And children who have been put up for adoption far so much better...right? Lets see some of the greatest serial killers were put up for adoption. There are far too many children up for adoption than can be adopted and totally dependent on the government, health care is lacking for these kids and in general the odds are stacked against them...so no, you are woefully wrong.

@SuperTruth77 You are full of detritus. Please go to bed, I imagine 7th grade classes begin early for a pimple faced pervert

I would rather my money go to a woman who is working, paying taxes and trying than those who really just want the public dole. I have no problem helping vets or disabled or seniors. Its funny some of the people in the crowd sound like the holy rollers who on Sunday talk about "helping their fellow man" but on Monday show their true character....greed and self piousness.

want change go VOTE

Come on Generation Y lets show the world we are coming and everyone get out and vote. The baby boomer generation has been doing not so hot in goverment and it's time for Gen Y to let our voices be heard! We have to get involved! Get out and vote:) Don't let other generations dictate to us how it is going to be!
I love how some of the old farts don't want to help this mother get decent medical coverage. Meanwhile, they love their government Medicare and still manage to collect their social security. Additionally, these retirees all readily take advantage of property tax abatements for seniors while this mother must pay to support their old butts while they spout their Rush Limbaugh rants. These retired seniors only care about themselves and no one else. Maybe we should just eliminate their medicare.

I love how people don't realize what they will pay for if she doesn't get coverage. When she goes to the doctor, its the ER and we pay, when she gets sick and doesn't go to the ER until it's way too late, we pay, when she can't work, we pay, when she dies we pay, and her kid, foster care, state care, maybe prison one day, just to exaggerate the possible for a bit, but anyway, we'd all wind up paying more for her without a public option.
