  • You shouldn`t rev the car when you cold start it, ruins the engine a bit because the oil is still cold and you need some time for it to start oiling the engine normally.

  • @KarlisKristaps yup.still working fine,now it has 205 tkm on it :)

  • Mine has 310k + and does that even now in freezing temperatures standing still for like a week.

    Great car it is. Yours is a 2.0 Turbo right? Cause I never heard of a normal 2.0

  • @prokiller75 I think it is 2.0 T4 or something like that.

  • i've got V40 2.0T too. Last winter in Finland was awesome for cars (-15 to -35 celcius for a couple of months) and I had a blast!=D V40 ignited as fast as in the summer while diesel engines frose up and many new petrol cars revved their start motors for ever=D gotta love it=)
