The 90124 CD was released with the name and cover obviously referencing 90125. With tongue in cheek Trevor sorted through the old demos of his solo session recordings. This collection gives one the rare insight to the evolution of a song such as the working versions of Owner of A Lonely Heart, Hold On and Changes. Would You Feel My Love comes from a more progressive production while Where Will You Be is an instrumental demo with Roger Hodgson on backing vocals. Love Will Find A Way was orginally presented to Stevie Nicks for her solo album, but eventually wound up on Big Generator. This album is a fascinating insight showing how Trevor developed his songs and demonstrate how much his presence influenced the sound of YES.

  • this demo is a truly epic one. You can clearly hear that this is going to be "Hold On", but there are still other elements in there that would have made it a great song if it was just released the way it was. I really like it - especially the chorus which differs from "Hold On" very much - actually I have to drop a little tear that this version of the chorus did not make it into the final song.

  • It's clear listening to all these demos that "Hold On" was a massive work in progress that Trevor put a lot of work into prior to joining Yes.

  • @dawg1971 I think you really said it - and it shows what his strengths were, and how great Jon and the guys were.

  • justice to the left of you justice to the right...

  • @mitchconn Sure does! As soon as I heard it, I was thinking of Foreigner.

  • oh i like this..great guitars!

  • You can tell that this isn't very "Yes" at this point - especially the chorus. I'm so glad that Trevor worked with Jon, Chris, Tony and Alan to make this a great Yes song. This had some good bones but needed a reworking for sure.

  • @kellalizard Thats because it was made before Hold On It was going to be Trevor Rabin's Album and then Yes came to recruit him and Trevor gave the songs to Yes.

  • The chords are the same as "Hold On".

  • Wow...the opening riff sounds like Foreigner's "Feels Like the First Time"
