Ouch... I went shooting today and my Bolt slipped off the op rod... It was working fine until about 100 rounds. I went home broke it down cleaned it it seems fine... any ideas why it happen?

i just felt like the biggest loser wrestling with the bolt trying to get it back in after cleaning the rifle and just read a few comments regarding the firing pin "trick" to get it back in. worked like a charm.

The Ruger Mini-14 is a piece of shit compared to an AR-15.. It is almost sacrelege to compare it to a REAL M-14, which is a superb rifle

I also had to take my scope off to do things right. Replacing the scope I wil not lose zero will I??? I got a nice Nikon M223 it does not lose zero once it is set.
